The Frog Cup is a season-long points race, culminating with the End of Year Event. Most events throughout the season are assigned a points structure, with points awarded to participants based on their finish position in the event. The Committee has created six different point structure categories, and then assigned each event to one of these categories to determine the points to be awarded. The six categories are:
Regular Points (baseline point structure, not elevated or split, typically used for individual events)
Elevated Points (similar to Regular Points, but with points awards being larger than Regular Points)
2 Person Split Points (used for 2 person events, where each team member receives 50% of the Regular Points award)
4 Person Split Points (used for 4 person events, where each team member receives 25% of the Regular Points award)
Elevated 2 Person Points (used for 2 person events, where each team member receives 50% of the Elevated Points award)
No Points (no points are awarded for these events)
Points accumulate throughout the season, and standings will be distributed weekly. Upon completion of the End of Year Event, points will be updated to a final standings. Payouts at the End of Year Event will be based on the final points standings (not the finish order of the End of Year Event, as in the past).
